This is your change to join our sales team and contribute to meet our targets by maintaining our competitive and innovative edge. The ideal candidate will focus and drive sales and promote Kongsberg Maritime products and solutions within the Merchant and Yachting segment, while also identifying opportunities to cross-sell other products in our portfolio to meet customer demands. The team based in The Netherlands works closely with product experts and sales experts at HQ, and together with our global teams provide excellent customer knowledge and relations combined with deep product and system knowledge. You will join an experienced team, working together to maximize our sales potential.What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships for system and product sales
  • Develop and implement sales and customer strategies
  • Collaborate with various company functions to achieve regional KPI’s
  • Drive sales operations in designated areas and with specific customers
  • Prepare quotations and handle contract negotiations
  • Coordinate customer activities with Kongsberg Maritime’s sales resources
  • Manage order intake budgets and provide sales forecasts
  • Project sales volumes and profits for existing and new products
  • Represent Kongsberg Maritime at industry conferences and event

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in sales and marketing within the maritime industry, with a solid grasp of vessel operations
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Proven track record in customer negotiation, sales, and commercial processes
  • Awareness of industry trends and competitors
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Willingness to travel as required for the role
