Senior IT Project Manager – S/4HANALocation: Cork Based, Hybrid (2-3 days p/w onsite)Contract Type: Daily Rate Contract (Strong Market Rate)OverviewCurrently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and oversee a complex SAP S/4HANA Transformation project. This pivotal role requires an individual with a proven track record in managing large-scale ERP transformation initiatives, particularly within SAP environments, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, system integrators, and stakeholders to deliver the project on time, within scope, and on budget while ensuring the adoption of best practices in SAP project management.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the SAP S/4HANA transformation program, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases.Stakeholder Management: Engage with C-level executives, business unit leads, and external vendors to align the project with strategic objectives.Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and tracking financial performance against forecasts.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive issue resolution.Integration Coordination: Liaise with technical teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors to manage integration points and ensure seamless system deployment.Change Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement change management strategies that drive adoption and minimize resistance.Agile/Waterfall Methodologies: Apply appropriate project management methodologies to suit the needs of the program, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.Reporting & Governance: Prepare and present detailed project status reports, dashboards, and KPIs to senior leadership and governance boards.Skills & Experience RequiredProven SAP Expertise: Must have experience in delivering large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation projects within enterprise environments.Project Management Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are highly desirable.ERP Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA, including migration and integration processes.Strong Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.Hybrid Working Experience: Skilled in managing distributed teams in hybrid working environments.Risk & Change Management: Hands-on experience with risk and change management strategies in IT transformation projects.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SAP modules, system integration tools, and cloud technologies is advantageousAdditional InformationImmediate interviews with prompt start date available.Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restrictions.For more information, please contact Scott Hool in confidence.
