We are looking for a Scientist (x|f|m) for Strategic Collaborations for the Advanced BioAnalytics department at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this role, you will serve as a critical contributor to the identification, development, application and integration of emerging microscopy/imaging technologies, bioprocess engineering, and advanced cell models to the growing Sartorius’ Bioanalytic portfolio trough strategic external collaborations. The team is looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Goettingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.Grow with us – Your ResponsibilitiesIdentify, build, support and lead relationships with external partners focused on the conception, development and testing of next generation core technologiesStrategic research and development, and transfer in, of spectroscopic technologies for live cell imaging, cytometry, as well as the cultivation of workflows and other related technologies, to provide a basis for evolution of current and future Sartorius Bioanalytical productsConceive, research and support the development of prototype technologies through to proof of conceptWork closely with Sartorius product management and development teams to prioritise areas of technology research, expected to extend beyond current product roadmapsGather, analyse and define requirements for system functionalityProvide guidance and oversight to technical staff establishing advanced cell modelsProvide support or guidance to technical support team and R&D teams as needed for transfer of technologies developed and/or adopted into the Sartorius product development or OEM organisationsWhat will convince usYou have a PhD in Life Science or other closely related discipline with substantial formal education and experience with Bioanalytic, and 3D cell systemsYou have extensive experience with academic project coordination bringing academic and industrial partners together.
