Ecology Solutions is a leading consultancy specialising in ecology planning solutions, offering
an extensive range of expertise to numerous and diverse high-profile clients within both the
public and private sectors. We also have regular interaction with our partner companies
specialising in landscape consultancy and ecological mitigation implementation / habitat
creation.

About the role:

Both the Worcestershire and Hertfordshire offices are currently recruiting Seasonal
Field Surveyors. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in protected species
surveys and translocation work in various locations across the UK. This role will offer
hands-on experience working in the British countryside, as well as a chance to develop and
practice a range of techniques used in ecological surveys.

Full training will be provided, but previous experience and basic knowledge of local fauna will
be advantageous. Use of own car is essential, as is a willingness to travel long distances and
work evenings. There may be a requirement for occasional weekend work, however, we are willing
to consider applicants who are unable to work weekends.

You will receive £12.50 per working hour, plus expenses, to include a subsistence allowance and
mileage costs.

The ideal candidate will be able to join the team on either a full or part-time basis from
April 2023. However, applicants who wish to start between May and June 2023 are also welcome to
apply. Work will be available until September / October according to the needs of the business.
