Hours: Mon – Fri. 07:00 – 19:00 Pay rate: £13.85 p/hMain duties1. Work alongside the Account Manager, Operations Manager, Security Manager and client teams to ensure the security of the site is maintained. This includes opening and closing site 7am -7pm and adapting these procedures as appropriate.2. This also includes ensuring that security measures remain operational and that security protocols are followed, updated as required and any challenges reported appropriately to protect people, property and assets.2.To co-ordinate and provide access to the various Facilities services and ensure the expected standards of MITIE and Ofcom are maintained in line with the contract standards.3. To comment on whether these contract standards remain appropriate and fit for purpose whilst reporting any issues to Account manager / Security manager / FM Managers4. Engage with MITIE partners, Ofcom Stakeholders and local farmer to ensure a collaborative and efficient approach as well as a swift response to appropriate service requests on site. This will require regular liaison with the Ofcom & Mitie FM Helpdesks and service managers/supervisors in addition to keeping Ofcom stakeholders up to date.5. Monitoring and reporting reactive maintenance via the Ofcom and Mitie Helpdesks as and when they occur. Ensuring that these requests are tracked and completed satisfactorily and within the agreed SLA’s. This should include providing updates and reporting back to contracts manager and Ofcom stakeholders as appropriate.6. Carry out regular building inspections on all aspects of the Baldock built environment including housekeeping, fabric and environment and report back any issues in the appropriate way.7. Proactive day to day housekeeping of floor areas, alternative workpoints, topping-up of coffee points and copy areas, liaising with the cleaner to clean fridges and other periodic cleans. This will also include all external areas such as outbuildings and associated compounds, car parks, access roads, designated fences, grounds maintenance.8. Work in accordance with Mitie and Ofcom policies, procedures, and protocols including areas of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment.9. Ensuring all contractors works including planned preventative maintenance, surveys, remedial works, and other contractor visits etc are completed as expected.11. To work alongside the client stakeholders and FM management team to identify and provide solutions in areas relating to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment.12. Responsible for management and coordination visitors, contractors, incoming post & deliveries ensuring that effective protocols are in place in line with policies.13. To coordinate that compliance documentation is updated and maintained for site in conjunction with the Contract Manager, Security Manager and Operations Manager.15. Whilst the role expects 7am – 7pm Monday – Friday to ensure a consistent approach to opening and closing we also expect a flexible approach to work patterns, priorities, and use of systems to maintain the standards required.16. Adhere to any reasonable management requests from line manager or client contact and stakeholders17. To take an active role in delivering an outstanding response to Mitie’s contract requirements across the client’s estate.18. Training (can be provided)- To ensure that all relevant training and documents required for the role are up to date – Security clearance, SIA licence, First Aid training, Fire warden, working from height courses etcPerson Specification
