Together we want to bring added value to our users and enable them to optimize their work processes through automation and digitalization.We are looking for an addition to our development team. The Team is responsible for the intern development of two web applications for sales and operations. These applications have a Java and Python Backend and Angular/Vue Frontend and Mongo Database.It is an international Scrum Team composed by four developers, two testers and one Product Owner. Project language is English, and we work using the Scrum Framework and Jira as Tool for requirement management and team transparency.Being part of the team means being involved in all Scrum events, which are: Daily, Refinement once a week to discuss and estimate future requirements; -Planning to plan and commit to the scope of the sprint, Review to demonstrate the implemented features and Retrospective to investigate the process. A sprint is a two-week development period.Because of the DevOps nature of the team, each team member is involved in the complete software lifespan from development to release in production. For this reason, experience with OpenShift (Kubernetes), Docker and Gitlab is required. The release in production is once a month.The candidate we are looking for, will primarily (but not exclusively) support the team for one of the two applications. This application is used to order the configuration of APNs (also called “service”). The application offers the possibility to create different APN products. It is a web application with Python Backend Vue Frontend and Mongo Database.The goal of this application is to have transparency about the status of the order and to trigger the automatic configuration of the APN. It helps the user to always be informed about the status of this order: from creation, through configuration, testing till completion. The application triggers the automatic configuration of the APN and reduces the manual effort needed to set up a service.Qualifications
- Experience (3-5 years) with Python, Shell-Scripting, MongoDB, Java J2EE, Java Frameworks (Spring)
- Experience (3-5 years) with Web Services / APIs (REST)
- Experience (3-5 years) with OpenShift (Kubernetes), Docker and Gitlab
- Interest & enthusiasm for software development and software lifecycle
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
