Our client is a world leading organization, widely known as a great place to work. They have offices in both Dublin and Shannon and this role can be done in either office.About the Position
- Lead and facilitate discovery sessions and workshops with senior stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive alignment with the organization’s target operating model.
- Navigate complex business structures, proactively address challenges, and work autonomously to deliver results.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships, effectively managing expectations across teams.
- Balance business requirements with overall product strategy to ensure strategic alignment.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements with a high level of accuracy.
- Develop a deep understanding of existing systems and applications to support future solutions.
- Provide high-level effort estimates to support program planning and decision-making.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Adhere to Agile methodologies, including SCRUM processes, to drive successful project execution.
- Coordinate with business users, developers, and testers to facilitate application testing and evaluation.
The Candidate
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on requirements gathering, process analysis, and driving efficiencies in large-scale implementations.
- Hands-on experience working in large delivery programs.
- Self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration and maintaining strong team relationships.
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience engaging and collaborating with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Experience working remotely with distributed teams and multiple vendor partners.
- Ability to estimate effort and contribute to project planning.
- Experience in application support and training.
- Degree-level education in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Process modeling (e.g., BPMN) to document and analyze business workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with UX design principles is an advantage.
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with conceptual data modeling.
- Industry experience in leasing, financial services, or a related field is a plus.
