And at the same time, contribute to a more sustainable future for the world and the societies in which we live and work.As a member of the team, you will become a member of Allianz Group’s Sustainability community.The Impact You Will HaveReporting to the Global Head of Sustainability Governance, you will be supporting the implementation of Allianz Commercial Sustainability steering, monitoring, and reporting as well as the business integration of the Allianz Group’s sustainability goals into Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. The role will be instrumental to respond to the regulatory, industry and non-financial reporting requirements for the Corporate & Specialty insurance sector and to drive Sustainability integration into core business considerations and processes. A specific focus is on the business & data integration along with Allianz Group’s decarbonization targets, the EU Taxonomy / Sustainable Solutions monitoring, the integration and performance of the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Manage the implementation of the Sustainability Business Strategy.
• Engage with business and finance functions across Allianz entities for best practice sharing and consistency.
• Represent Allianz Commercial on expert panels inside Allianz, and deliver training for internal audience (Underwriting, Market Management, Operations etc).
• Ensure and steer Sustainability data requirements and integration as well as portfolio steering and capabilities with stakeholders inside and outside of Allianz Commercial.
• Facilitate portfolio reporting (e.g. EU Taxonomy, EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) along with regulatory and Allianz internal requirements.
• Steer and support strategically important projects/workstreams with data analysis, e.g. the decarbonization implementation.
• Ensure monitoring and support data integration. Support establishing analytics and the development of ESG / Sustainability Data, KPIs and Tools, together with respective functions and stakeholders inside and outside Allianz Commercial.
• Provide support to Underwriting with regards to KPI implementation of Sustainability policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Sustainability framework implementation and communication with internal stakeholders. Support Sustainability Governance and oversight for Corporate & Specialty LoBs.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• A master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration / Mathematics / Statistics / Finance and/or Actuarial background.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel and Database applications; Business Analyses and project management certifications.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in sustainable finance / insurance within a Corporate or Consulting Company.
• Experience in data analysis related to sustainable finance / insurance. Familiarity with reporting & visualization tools.
• Extensive background in ESG & Sustainability Data, showcasing expertise in comprehensive analysis and market research within commercial and finance sectors.
• Established track record in Corporate Governance, demonstrating successful navigation and deep understanding of EU Sustainability regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in data analytics, particularly with an emphasis on ESG & Sustainability, demonstrating the capability to meticulously analyze highly complex data from multiple sources, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they transpire.
• Proficient at negotiation and conflict management, with the ability to balance and manage the priorities of different stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and German.
