This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a trusted, sustainably-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy, dedicated to broadening their geographical reach by establishing a brand new office location in Bonnie Scotland. Known for lending their expertise to a diverse range of projects across the landscape architecture, planning, and civil engineering fields, they are currently searching for a talented, enthusiastic Senior Civil Engineer with extensive knowledge of infrastructure design, who is willing to take on a variety of challenging projects. You will be working alongside a newly-established team of infrastructure design experts, based near the cultural, green city of Dunfermline.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

* Contributing to the design of a multitude of exciting projects and developments
* Overseeing the day-to-day running of projects, from inception through to successful delivery/implementation
* Mentoring and supporting colleagues as they develop within the company
* Liaising with clients and stakeholders across the public and private sectors
* Preparing and checking technical documents, including reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, risk assessments, and method statements
* Adhering to company policies, procedures, and best practice, upholding the appropriate health and safety standards at all times
* Acting as a company representative at client meetings, site visits, etc.

Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

* A UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering
* Possess Chartered Status with a relevant, recognised professional body (e.g., ICE)
* Experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK-based consultancy or Local Authority setting
* Considerable experience of working on infrastructure (especially highways and drainage), housing developments, and energy engineering projects
* Experience of earthworks and drainage network modelling
* Proficient in the use of various software packages (including Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and others)
* Considerable experience of writing and checking a variety of technical documents
* Demonstrable experience of liaising with clients and stakeholders within the industry
* Excellent organisation, time management, team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

* A Higher Degree in a relevant discipline
* Experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments
* Experience of preparing Transport Assessments
* Experience of leading projects/teams
* Experience of working in a public-facing role
* Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
