Join our dynamic Strategic Communications team as a Senior Internal Communications Officer, playing a pivotal role in our Staff Communication team within the vibrant Strategic Communication and Marketing Function at The University of Bristol. You’ll be at the forefront of crafting and executing strategic communication campaigns that drive the delivery of our People Priorities and overarching University goals. Your expertise will shine as you provide insightful guidance and contribute to the creation of integrated communication plans tailored to captivate internal audiences.
Strategic Campaign Development:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated, ambitious communications campaigns aligned with University priorities, fostering engagement with pivotal initiatives.
Audience Understanding and Tailoring:
- Utilise cutting-edge segmentation and mapping techniques to identify and comprehend target audiences and their needs.
- Tailor campaigns with precision, ensuring maximum impact while adhering to brand guidelines and our distinctive tone of voice.
Content Strategy Mastery:
- Manage, plan, and deliver a robust content strategy for people initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders across Professional Services and Schools/Faculties.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Foster close collaboration with key stakeholders essential for executing integrated plans, building productive relationships that drive success.
Impact Assessment and Continuous Improvement:
- Establish evaluation criteria to assess the impact of communication strategies.
Proven Communication Leadership:
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing communication activities in large, complex environments, both internally and externally.
Strategic Multichannel Expertise:
- Experience crafting core content for diverse channels, strategically choosing based on insights and assessing effectiveness.
Compelling Writing Mastery:
- Excellent written and copywriting skills, crafting engaging content for various audiences and channels.
Credibility Across Levels:
- Establish high credibility with staff at all levels, from administrative roles to Pro Vice Chancellors.
