Senior Data Integration Developer – Hybrid – LondonAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Integration Developer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team in the fintech space. This role is perfect for an experienced data professional who thrives in high-volume data environments and has a strong background in SQL development, ETL processes, and application integration.Key Responsibilities:Application Development:
- Design, develop, and optimise data applications and ETL processes.
- Work closely with business users and development teams to gather and define requirements.
- Ensure best practices are followed in data integration, quality assurance, and security standards.
- Participate in solution architecture and design.
- Manage release processes, ensuring compliance with IT change management procedures.
Application Support:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for key data applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes and proactively address issues.
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers to ensure effective resolution of incidents and service requests.
Key Requirements:Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2019+, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
- Extensive experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 integration using KingswaySoft.
- Experience in application integration using REST APIs and SOAP web services.
- Hands-on experience with Visual Studio 2015+ and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in GIT version control and branching methodologies.
- Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 security framework.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
- ITIL experience and qualifications.
- AI and automation knowledge.
