URGENT – Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Real-Time Audio) – 6-Month Remote Contract
We are urgently seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for a 6-month remote contract to work on cutting-edge real-time audio processing solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux-based software development, DSPs, remote device monitoring, and deterministic audio transport over Ethernet (AVB/TSN).
Key Responsibilities:
•Immediate start – critical project needs!
•Develop and optimize real-time audio processing software on Linux-based embedded systems.
•Work with dedicated DSPs to ensure low-latency performance.
•Implement deterministic audio transport over Ethernet using AVB/TSN protocols.
•Develop and maintain Linux kernel components and device drivers.
•Utilize unit testing frameworks and configure build systems (CMake, Yocto).
•Troubleshoot and optimize Ethernet-based communication protocols for real-time audio.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Key Skills & Experience:
•Strong C programming skills and Linux kernel development experience.
•Expertise in real-time audio processing and DSP-based optimizations.
•In-depth understanding of AVB/TSN and Ethernet-based communication protocols.
•Hands-on experience with CMake, Yocto, and unit testing frameworks.
•Familiarity with Linux audio subsystems and driver development.
•Experience with Docker and open-source contributions is a plus.
Contract Details:
•URGENT – Immediate start preferred!
•Duration: 6 months
•Location: Fully remote
