Barden are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by an Irish tech company, to invite an FP&A professional to join their finance team. The company is private equity backed, by leading and well-known investors and is experiencing significant growth which is expected to continue and into international markets.This role would suit an ambitious and commercially minded accounting professional, who is looking to progress their career and is interested in being involved in the growth of an earlier stage company.ABOUT THE ROLE:This role will suit an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional. Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, liaising with key stakeholders;
  • Ownership of the monthly management reporting;
  • Analyse and prepare commentary on financial performance, to assist in decision making;
  • Cash flow and expense management;
  • Maintain financial models to update for projections;
  • Act as a business partner liaising between departments;
  • Assist in investor relations and market analysis;
  • Prepare investment analysis and projections to support investment;
  • Implement process improvements;
  • Ad-hoc projects as they arise.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA);
  • Minimum 3 years experience post qualified experience within industry;
  • Previous experience in financial modelling and budgeting;
  • Corporate finance experience an advantage – financial modelling, due diligence, capital raising and investments.
  • Team player with ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team;
  • Confidence to address challenges as they arise;
  • Advanced excel with previous knowledge of financial modelling;
