Join IFS.Job DescriptionPosition Overview:We are looking for a knowledgeable Senior HR Business Partner with an emphasis on Project Management who will serve as a strategic partner to our global UK management team and influence HR projects across the South West region. This role requires a deep appreciation of HR values, coupled with the ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement within a fast-paced software environment.Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Partner closely with senior management to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, talent development, and organizational design.
  • Steer the implementation of HR programs and initiatives, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Conduct thorough HR analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive positive change.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of HR initiatives, maintaining alignment with company values and culture.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees at all levels, fostering open communication, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Lead and manage end-to-end HR projects across South West region, including but not limited to talent management, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure the successful execution of HR projects within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Utilize project management methodologies and tools to track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Act as a change agent by driving organizational change initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the HR function.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR team members involved in project execution, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, including HR specialists, recruiters, and business leaders, to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver innovative HR solutions.
  • Analyze project outcomes and metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, providing recommendations for future initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High level education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or CIPD qualified
  • Proven Senior HRBP knowledge, preferably within the software or technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR values, practices, and employment law, with a history of applying sound judgment and discretion in complex HR situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and manage projects from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering results, on time and on budget
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyze data to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborative approach with a commitment to teamwork and building strong relationships across departments and functions.
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making and measure project success.
