Look no further! We’re seeking a dynamic Senior HR Business Partner to join our Southern Region HR Team and make a difference.As Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll be partnering with our Kent Maintenance Teams. You’ll proactively identify, plan, and meet the people needs of the business, driving improved performance. Collaborating closely with fellow HR team members, you’ll craft and implement the HR strategy and People Plan, focusing on workforce planning, talent, succession planning, equality, diversity and inclusion and change management. Your efforts will be pivotal in driving a high-performance culture and aligning with business objectives and play an important role in us providing a safe and reliable railway for our passengers and freight operators across the Kent route.Whilst based at our London Blackfriars office, you’ll be required to work on-site across the Kent region, including Ashford, London Bridge, and Orpington.We offer flexible working with the requirement to be in the office 2/3 days a week. In addition, we offer attractive benefits, such as heavily subsidised Season Tickets and up to 75% Leisure Travel for you and your family.About the role (External)Key Responsibilities:· Partnering closely with business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.· Building strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, offering expert advice and guidance.· Driving talent development and retention efforts, ensuring a steady pipeline of top performers.· Managing trade union relationships and collaborating with the Employee Relations team.Key Skills and Experience:· Strong business acumen with a focus on delivering results.· Proven track record of collaborating with senior leaders to enhance people management practices.· Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business outcomes.· Expertise in implementing HR best practices to foster a high-performance culture.· Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.· Experience in talent identification, development, and retention strategies.· Technical HR knowledge and CIPD qualification preferred.· Proficient in use and analysis of people data and customer insight to inform and drive strategic changes to improve business performance and delivery excellence.· Ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment and drive organisational change.· Previous experience in managing union relationships and navigating unionised environments.How to apply (External)Salary: £55, 596 – £62,546Closing date: 14 May 2024 – Late applications will not be accepted.Click apply now to apply.Remote working opportunity! this role requires working in the office 2/3 days a week.Drugs and Alcohol Standard:All prospective candidates who are offered a conditional role will be required to undergo and pass a drugs and alcohol test.
