Job DescriptionWe are looking to hire an Insights Analyst who is passionate about Retail, CPGs & eCommerceBeing a leading digital shelf and omnichannel analytics provider working with CPG brands globally, and having been recently acquired by Nielsen IQ, we have a wealth of online data and are expanding our newly formed Insights team at NIQ Digital Shelf.The role will be to support the sales and marketing teams with actionable insights generated through data analysis and research for prospects, marketing, events and existing clients.The role will require strong experience in analysing large sets of data using excel and creating effective presentations using PowerPoint.The role reports to the Strategic Insights Director and will involve working closely with the Sales & Marketing teams.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate insights and build case studies to attract new clients and assist the sales team in their pitchesCreate case studies and category snippets to assist the sales team in prospectingLead tool demos of our solution to new prospects and support the sales pitching processGenerate content across categories, competitors and features to support the publications of the marketing teamEnsure timely delivery of regular and ad-hoc insightsPresent your analysis in a way that is accessible for both technical and non-technical audiences, providing valuable insights to inform business decisionsEffectively handle large and disparate datasets with the ability to understand, interpret, and translate this data into meaningful insightAbility to quickly draw insights from complex data involving multiple brands, retailers, categories and marketsExtract data from our platform and enhance it NielsenIQ datasets and secondary sources including annual reports, presentations and market research reports to provide concise and relevant information to key internal and external stakeholdersAssist in building a central knowledge base for all use cases across marketsPerson SpecificationUp to 4 years’ experience in a similar insight, analytics roleStrong Retail, CPG, eCommerce market knowledge/ experience preferredAdvanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel skills, and Google Sheets skills essentialExperience of working with a high volume of SKU/ store level CPG brand data across multiple retailers and KPIsStrong presentation skills and experience in generating and sharing meaningful insights across business categories and to multiple stakeholders (internal and external)Excellent communication skills (written and verbally) in EnglishProactive with a ‘can do’ attitudeExpert in managing time management and multi-taskingAn analytical, curious individual who is open to new challengesA solution driven individualSelf-driven & quick learner, who has the confidence to push their own ides to challenge current ways of workingThis is a hybrid position, working 1 day per week from our London office.#LI-HybridAdditional InformationOur Benefits
