We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our consultancy team-someone eager to shape how we develop and deliver the solutions our clients rely on.About the roleAs a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of our consultancy team within KMD Application Services. Our mission is to be the preferred partner for our clients when it comes to application maintenance, development, and modernization. Our assignments range from small advisory engagements and maintenance work to pilot, modernization, and full-scale development projects. The consultancy team is involved across the entire value chain-from client dialogue, sales, and consulting to proposal development and delivery.Your responsibilities will include:Application maintenance and further developmentCloud-native application modernization and developmentSetting up and automating CI/CD toolsAdvising clients on the selection of methods and tools, with a focus on developer experienceEstimating and documentationAbout youYou work in a structured and dedicated manner, taking strong ownership of your tasks. You are a strong communicator, capable of conveying complex messages, and skilled at building solid relationships to achieve great results.It’s a big plus if you can tick off several of the following:Solid experience with Java, preferably in a cloud-native architecture and tool stackKnowledge of event-driven architecture, including Kafka and NoSQL databasesExperience in API design, management, and development, including security aspectsInterest in AI and large language models (LLMs)A professional background in computer science/software development or equivalentA minimum of five years of relevant software development experienceFluency in Danish and English at a professional levelWhat we offerCollaboration with professional clients and colleaguesGreat opportunities for personal and professional development, including ongoing certificationsA flexible work environment with a good balance between working at the client site and at KMD’s officeInterested?We are conducting interviews on an ongoing basis, so please submit your CV as soon as possible.
