The combination of market experience in the area of regulations and SimCorp Dimension expertise creates an environment of quick learning.SimCorp’s global reach will give you exposure to different market units and multiple parts of SimCorp’s internal organization. The SaaS Delivery team provides a broad range of services including NAIC Reporting. We are looking for a Business Consultant who assumes responsibility for keeping SimCorp’s solution updated in collaboration with the NAIC Reporting Team and colleagues in different SimCorp locations.What you will be responsible forImplementation and maintenance of configuration solutions based on SimCorp Dimension for the US insurance industry.Support maintenance and enhancement of SimCorp’s NAIC solution in close collaboration with other team members and departmentsAnalyze new and upcoming NAIC requirements and run impact assessments on SimCorp DimensionParticipate in workshop sessions with the clients, presenting configuration enhancements, discussing new developments, gathering requirementsImplementation and maintenance of our solutions for North American clientsCreate, maintain and run test cases. Verify results of reconciliation.Create and enhance the documentation of the NAIC solutionOn the job training with the clientsWhat we valueMost importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to hold several of the following and be able to – and interested in – learning the rest.An academic degree in Management, Finance, Business, Mathematics/IT, Physics or similarBroad financial market knowledge gained through several years of experience in the financial sector in one of the following fields: Front Office, Back Office, Accounting, Fund Accounting, Consulting or Professional Services within the Financial sector or implementation role for a software vendor.Sound technical knowledge and understanding (knowing e.g. SQL and programming languages like Visual Basic)Collaboration and communication skills, bridging finance and business.An organized way of thinking alongside an initiative-driven perspectiveThe skill to perform effectively whether collaborating with others or working solo.A high drive and the ability to prioritize between multiple stakeholders in a changing global environment.Fluency in spoken and written EnglishWillingness to work in early morning hours up to 40%Nice to have:Experience with SimCorp Dimension or any other investment management softwareExperience with NAIC Accounting and Reporting requirementsAccounting experience in generalKnowledge of financial instruments or the asset management business and processesExperience working in a globally distributed organization.Next stepsPlease send us your application in English via our career site as soon as possible, we process incoming applications continually.
