U. z 2018 r., poz. 1668) and the statutes of the University of Wroclaw.The candidate is expected to have: * A PhD degree in the humanities or an MA degree in Korean Studies.

  • Experience in teaching courses to university students; a proven track record of at least three years of teaching for the candidates with the PhD degree and of at least five years of teaching for the candidates with the MA degree.
  • Command of the Korean language: Korean Studies credentials or being a native speaker of Korean.
  • Command of the Polish language sufficient for effective communication in teaching and academic settings.
  • Command of English (B2 level).
  • As additional criteria related to the teaching goals of the Korean Section and the needs of the Institute of Classical, Mediterranean and Oriental studies, the competition board will take into consideration the candidates’ research interests in Korean literature and culture and experience in organizing scholarly and outreach events.

Responsibilities at the workplace: * Leading teaching courses for students.

  • Involvement in the pursuits of the University’s collegiate bodies, sitting on admission and examination boards and participation in promotional campaigns of the University.
  • Contribution to organizational and outreach activities.
