By uniting unique high-end technologies across the full digital continuum with 53,000 world-class talents, Eviden expands the possibilities of data and technology, now and for generations to come.We welcome a Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in Madrid!We are looking for a new colleague with validated experience at a credible commercial firm/IT enterprise, to join the in-house legal team of a leading technology services company.Ideally, your experience will be primarily in the technology sector and have included drafting, negotiating and advising on issues related to commercial contracts (outsourcing, consulting, licensing, hosting, software development and other services Eviden offers its customers), including compliance and GDPR matters.Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Review, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial and procurement related contracts, collaborating with our commercial, procurement and sales leads
  • Advising the business on tender processes and participating in contractual negotiations with a range of customers, suppliers, and partners in different sectors.
  • Dealing with various legal matters such as litigation, administrative processes, and corporate matters
  • Analysis, review, negotiation, and preparation of data protection agreements to ensure compliance with GDPR, applicable law, and internal data protection policy.
  • Transversal application of Eviden’s internal policies under the responsibility of legal counsel.
  • Advising in contract reviews and approval processes

Your profile
To be successful in this role, you need to personify a rich combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and personal attributes.Key skills and experience:

  • Currently acting as a qualified legal counsel in a multinational or global company
  • Holding min 5 years of relevant experience with commercial IT contracts, contract management and dispute- related activities
  • Knowledge of data protection matters
  • Experience in the IT or technology sector or comparable industry
  • Ability to work independently, deliver and handle personal workload
  • Excellent academic qualifications
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, flexibility, and proactivity in solving issues
  • Native Spanish and English
