With a continued record of growth and stability, we’re on the constant lookout for fresh talent to join our expanding teams.As the Senior Manager of Data Science, you will be responsible developing a cutting-edge analytic platform and deploying advanced machine learning models to improve health outcomes for our members. You will be working on innovative AI projects driving and supporting various advanced analytic solutions aimed to improve healthcare delivery. As a Senior Manager Data Science, you’ll be leading the Data Science team focused on innovation; developing predictive models that leverage data in new and exciting ways. In addition to having impact on a great team, you’ll also discover the career opportunities you’d expect from an industry leader.Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Manager Data Science:
- Set strategy for and drive day-to-day execution of the Data Science team in support of business stakeholder goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their analytic needs, propose & deliver business solutions and drive change.
- Work with autonomy and in partnership with other Data Scientists, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and BI Developers to find solutions to complex problems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies with the Scrum Team and project stakeholders.
- Leverage technical / analytical expertise across the enterprise to architect, deploy and oversee analytics and technology solutions.
- Research, develop and apply new innovative analytics methods and technologies from other domains to healthcare data.
- Ability to articulate and paint a vision, with strong communication and presentation skills, as well as strengths in translating highly complex concepts, results, models and technologies in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences.
- Have experience with Commercial environments and/or Products (not just internal focused)
- Be a leader for a variety of projects including proofs of concept, new product / component development, and reengineering initiatives among others.

- Undergraduate degree in relevant field (analytics, mathematics, economics, business, statistics, engineering, or finance) or equivalent experience
- Core knowledge of statistics, machine-learning and numerical / computational methods with experience in the application of these methods to business problems
- Demonstrated experience using programming to solve complex technical problems
- Demonstrated experience accessing data from various data environments
- Basic proficiency in data visualization, leveraging tools like Excel, Tableau, PowerBI
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely in writing and orally to individuals and groups with diverse backgrounds and skill sets
- Stakeholder management and partnership building experience
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications Senior Manager, Data Science:
- Masters degree pr PhD in a technical field (e.g. computer science, science, engineering, math / stats, physics etc.)
- Extensive programming experience with Python/Pyspark or other analytics languages
- Experience working within a software development team and using version control systems such as Git..
- Experience of large-scale distributed computing environments (Hadoop, Hive, Databricks etc.)
- Experience developing analytical solutions on cloud computing platforms i.e. Azure
- Experience applying deep learning methods to business problems using TensorFlow, Keras etc.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning methods for model build and deployment
- Experience applying computational algorithms and statistical methods to structured and unstructured data
- Experience working with Agile methodology
- Experience of the US Healthcare sector
