The Position
As our Senior Market Access Manager, Haemoglobinopathies, you will be responsible for developing and executing market access strategies and tactics that will drive the go-to market roadmap in order to establish our presence in haemoglobinopathies in Region SEEMEA. You will be establishing contact to potential customers and starting market access negotiations.
You will be also responsible for:
•    Building a deep understanding of the current and future treatment landscape in haemoglobinopathies, assess the potential for our early haemoglobinopathy assets and identify the key opportunities/barriers across different market clusters
•    Developing and implementing market-fit access strategies to improve access to effective care and treatment which would pave the way for our haemoglobinopathy assets in the respective SEEMEA markets
•    Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to create and communicate a resonating value proposition with the end-customer in mind 
•    Informing and shaping opinion regarding the value of company products within the health community, securing reimbursement for products through timely preparation of submissions, 
•    Effective understanding of local processes and networking with key stakeholders, and providing market access leadership across multiple market access sub-functions – e.g. Market Access, Pricing, Health Economics etc.
 

Qualifications
You should hold minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as healthcare, business, or life sciences with at least 5-10 years pharmaceutical industry experiences covering market access roles with a commercial mindset. You’ re fluent in written and spoken English. Having the knowledge and understanding of the Rare Diseases would be a plus. Further sought-after skills are:
•    Proven track record of developing and executing market access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review and health economic modelling activities.
•    Experience in building relationships/networks and working with health care decision makers (governments, payers, insurers, policy makers, other decision makers, KOLs etc.)
•    Experience in designing, developing and implementing an integrated approach to all aspects of the payer value proposition from early development through the life cycle of the assets.
•    Strong communicator ensuring that the assets’ value proposition is recognized and maximizes market uptake.
•    Leader with proven accountability, strong cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
 

About the department
In this role, you will report to the Senior Director, Rare Disease of Novo Nordisk Region SEEMEA (South East Europe, Middle East & Africa) and play a key role in our future success with the establishment of our presence in  Haemoglobinopathies in the Region. You will also collaborate with a wide range of cross-functional departments at different levels of the organization.
