Job Description

WHAT DOES A SENIOR PORTFOLIO MANAGER ? WHY YOU ?

      
You manage support of the Product Line strategy, growth, profitability and sustainability aligned with the market and development strategies within 3-5 years horizon.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

    
•    Facilitators for monthly Portfolio IBP (preparation, coordination, execution)
•    Delivering EMEA Vertical growth & profit innovation targets at AOP & LRP level, including KGP
•    Delivering system and product developments on time, by also developing & executing the Portfolio Sustainability Roadmap. Owner of product masterplan (accuracy, vitality index, reporting…)
•    PLE accountable leader
•    Portfolio segmentation & maintenance (product & service offer, PIS, data management…) 
•    Close cooperation with Marketing for product introductions: tool box, planning, value propositions… & support sales training
•    Close interaction with sales to ensure portfolio communication/update & collect voice of the sales
•    Working with Supply Chain to deliver cost & quality; also Portfolio representative at ITP
•    Implementing the pricing strategy by updating price lists, also by cleaning low margin / slow moving products on an ongoing basis    

QUALIFICATIONS: 

    
•    Ability to liaise, influence and coordinate across functions and countries.
•    Market knowledge and analysis to help identifying future customer needs.
•    Good product and financial skills to work on business case, DMC/costing…
•    Creativity to help developing product strategies, with the drive to develop and introduce these new systems into the marketplace. 
•    Curiosity and willingness to embrace & improve processes to make them more efficient
•    Good communication skills combined with willingness to embrace new ideas 
•    Negotiation skills
•    Fluent in English and preferably another additional language(s)
•    Understanding of the Company’s business systems – SAP, Fusion, etc.
