About your future role
As a Portfolio Operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of projects, programs, or initiatives across Nexi eCommerce. The portfolio operations manager ensures that the portfolio aligns with the strategic objectives and priorities of the organization, and that the portfolio delivers the expected benefits and outcomes. The portfolio operations manager also coordinates the allocation of resources, budget, and risk management across the portfolio, and reports on the portfolio performance and progress to senior stakeholders.Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Developing and maintaining the portfolio governance framework, processes, and tools.
  • Managing and/or influencing the portfolio intake, selection, and prioritization process.
  • Monitoring and controlling the portfolio execution, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and benefits.
  • Oversee the analysis and reporting of financial performance and key metrics of the product portfolio (incl. revenue, cost, margin, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value)
  • Support the annual and quarterly planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and priorities.
  • Identifying and managing the dependencies, risks, issues, and changes across the portfolio.
  • Communicating and collaborating with project and program managers, sponsors, and other portfolio stakeholders.
  • Evaluating and optimizing the portfolio performance and value delivery.
  • Providing regular and accurate portfolio status reports and dashboards.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement and maturity of the portfolio management practice.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.
  • At least five years of work experience in portfolio, program, or project management, preferably in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of portfolio management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficient in portfolio management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, or Jira.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and stakeholder expectations.
