Job Description:We are growing our presence in Denmark, and we intend to strengthen DNVs capabilities towards green developers and investors.In this position you will join the Nordics Energy Markets and Strategy team in Denmark, Copenhagen. You will cooperate with consultants from Norway, Finland, Sweden, as well as the Netherlands and Germany. You will advise our clients in the interplay of markets, regulation and technology, and work with financial institutions, utilities, project developers and various energy and climate focused government entities. In your role, you will primarily focus on:
- Early phase advice to developers. Our department focuses on market (entry) studies, location screenings, emission review (LCA) and techno-economic or regulatory feasibility studies
- Transaction advice to investors. Our department focuses on technical, regulatory and market due diligence, together with market reports and market entry studies
As a Senior/Principal Consultant for the Energy Markets and Strategy team you will:
- Develop and deliver advisory services to customer challenges and combine that with the role of project manager
- Act as leading expert for services related to green molecules, whether from biogas, PtX or (biogenic) CO2.
- Pro-actively lead business development efforts through proposal development and fostering positive relationships with existing and new clients
- Work together with and lead colleagues and experts in projects
- Create new opportunities for less experienced team members by driving new sales
- Provide unique market insights and knowledge to our clients

- You have a passion and interest for energy, and are curious to explore how markets play an increasingly important role in the green transition.
- You thrive as project manager for large, complex advisory projects which involves multiple disciplines and countries.
- Most likely you have a master’s degree or a PhD in economics, business or engineering.
- You have ideally 5-15 years’ experience from the energy and consulting sectors.
- You are a strong relationship builder, and build trust through quality of deliveries.
- You have an established network in the energy sector, and are keen to expand and use it to grow DNV’s business in Denmark.
- You are genuinely inspired by Denmark’s main challenges and opportunities to succeed in the energy transition.
