At SAP, the speed and intelligence of our contracting process are critical to our success. We are in the midst of a strategic, multi-year transformation – the Next Generation Contract Management (NGCM) program—to redefine how we engage with customers. By replacing our legacy systems with the Icertis platform, we will accelerate sales cycles, reduce commercial risk, and create a world-class contracting experience.
We are at a pivotal moment, transitioning from initial deployments to a full global rollout. We need a strong business-focused leader to partner with the Business Lead, move us beyond a reactive “fire-fighting” mode, and drive the program toward its strategic goals.
What you’ll do:
-You’ll take ownership of the business outcomes of the NGCM program, making sure we achieve the efficiency, compliance, and speed improvements our global contracting processes need.
-You’ll set up and run a clear governance model that connects daily execution with long-term strategy – helping the program run predictably, transparently, and with the right level of control.
-You will be the bridge across Sales, Legal, Operations, and IT, ensuring everyone is aligned on the direction, priorities, and responsibilities required for success.
-Working side-by-side with the Business Lead, you’ll help guide the program through complex decisions, competing priorities, and the realities of a global transformation.
What you bring:
-You’ve led large, cross-functional business transformation programs and delivered measurable results—whether through faster revenue cycles, reduced cost, or improved commercial processes
-You’re comfortable in fast-moving environments and can quickly get to the root of an issue, propose workable solutions, and keep the program aligned with business needs.
-You can turn big strategic goals into a clear, actionable plan with milestones, structure, and realistic expectations.
-You know how to work with senior leaders, build trust across global teams, and explain program impact in clear business language.
-You understand B2B sales and contracting processes. Experience with CLM tools – especially Icertis – is a definite plus.
