Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a Senior Project Manager who is driven, collaborative, and detail-oriented to join us in our Rare Disease Asset Management team, based in our Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.About the roleWe are seeking a driven, collaborative, and detail-oriented Asset Project Manager to join our Asset Management team. This role offers high visibility within the company, providing the opportunity to manage the entire spectrum of asset/product development. You will engage with a wide range of topics and be passionate about project management, particularly in the areas of commercial, marketing, and product launch.Who you’ll work with
You will report to the Asset Program Lead, you will collaborate closely with functional Head, and various cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Safety, Medical Affairs, and Access. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse global team dedicated to optimizing asset potential and delivering impactful outcomes.What you’ll do

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of asset programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure their successful execution.
  • Commercial and Marketing Focus: Lead projects with a strong emphasis on commercial and marketing strategies, including product launches.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Confidently interact with multiple and diverse stakeholders within complex matrix environments.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and provide clear performance insights.
  • Team Dynamics: Foster positive team dynamics and facilitate knowledge sharing through effective communication.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Apply best practices in project management, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Business Acumen: Utilize strong business acumen to drive project success and deliver value to patients and stakeholders.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree; Project Management certification required (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile).
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of project management experience in Pharmaceutical R&D or biotechnology company which includes drug development, medical affairs and or marketing project management.
  • Skills:
  • Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional global teams with a strong focus on marketing and product launch planning and execution
  • Deep understanding of marketing principles and strategies
  • Strong critical thinking, planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
  • Expertise in risk, issue, and performance management within a biopharma/biotech setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at managing change and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and reconcile diverging perspectives towards common goals.
  • Structured approach and proven skills in project and/or process management with multiple interfaces and deliverables.
