A Senior R&D Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device client in Galway for a fulltime, onsite role for an initial 12-month contract.The Senior R&D Engineer will actively participate in all areas of new product development and report to the R&D Engineering Manager.THE ROLE:

• Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development.
• Designs studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise.
• May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials.
• Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8) in Biomedical Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
• Good organizational, presentation and project management skills.
