Our client is a fast-growing international company, a leader in the aerospace sector.Part of the sales & marketing team, the SENIOR SALES shall strongly contribute to the rapid increase of the company revenue. The senior sales set up acquisition plans to capture and grow new strategic customers worldwide for the company. He/she generates and manages several leads in parallel while making sure that the overall commercial pipeline keeps increasing. The senior sales proactively contribute to the global sales strategy in providing sharp and accurate insights from the market. The candidate should demonstrate a strong ability to navigate into complex ecosystems and have strong interpersonal skills and team spirit. Ideal candidate has a technical background and a proven successful experience in sales or business development in the space industry.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to secure new strategic customers and for the company.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers in satellite operators, government agencies, and commercial space players.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, lead qualification, proposal development, contract negotiations, and closing.
- Understand client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Represent the company at international industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and establish partnerships.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to position the company effectively.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, providing regular updates and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Set up acquisition plans to capture and grow new strategic customers for the company.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
Must have :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the space, aerospace, or telecommunications industries.
- Proven experience in international B2B sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Frequent international travels required
Nice to have :
- Exposure to the european or global space industry network (e.g., ESA, satellite operators, space forces).
- Familiarity with satellite operations, ground segment technologies and satellite technologies at large
