C&A Services is the internationally active IT system house and European data for all C&A companies. Based in Düsseldorf, we support our Fashion Retail by providing IT services and developing IT solutions on an international level for C&A in Europe.

As Senior SAP Inhouse Test Manager at C&A, you will be reporting to the SAP CoE lead and will help the team to test software, integrated systems, to ensure that our systems and projects are working as designed. You will mentor and coach other QA engineers and engineering team members in quality assurance practices, skills, and tools, when required.

The Senior SAP Inhouse Test Manager is responsible for end-to-end QA and testing delivery.

Your responsibilities

•    Consulting the business and the IT around all testing inquiries.
•    Responsible for developing an overall test strategy together with the other test managers at C&A.
•    Preparation of test plans and test cases, especially in the logistics environment, and responsible for conduction.
•    Continuous improvement and optimization of test procedures, with regards to automation.
•    Monitor and report test progress, test coverage and test results to project management and other stakeholders.
•    Coordinate the process of defect logging, tracking and resolution.
•    Ensure defects are resolved in a timely and effective manner and regression testing is conducted.
•    Developing and implementing risk mitigation and quality assurance measures.
•    Work closely with project managers, functional consultants, developers, and end-users to understand and implement test requirements.
•    Organize and conduct regular status meetings and test reviews.
•    Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports and defect logs.

 

What you bring

•    At least bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field.
•    At least 4-5 years’ experience in similar roles.
•    At least 2-3 years’ experience in working with a Test-Management tool like tosca from tricentis or SAP Solution Manager.
•    Good experience with SAP (SAP EWM or SAP TM) as a User and knowledge of logistic processes.
•    Experience at Retail Fashion industry is an advantage.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
•    Hands on experience with any Issue Tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) and MS Office Suite.
•    Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
•    Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•    Detail-Oriented: Precision and attention to detail to ensure all aspects of testing are thoroughly conducted.
•    Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify problems and develop effective solutions.
•    Proactive: Take initiative and proactively improve testing processes.
•    Flexible: Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
•    Experience with automation software tools would be an advantage (such as Selenium, HP Micro Focus, Leapwork, or business/financial tools like Suxxesso and Compiricus).
•    Fluency in English required, German is an advantage.
