Data Engineer

The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring the accuracy of data, and creating reports to support business decisions. The Data Engineer will work closely with other teams to ensure that all data is properly collected, stored, and analysed.

Responsibilities:

• Designs and develop ETS processes using various technologies such as SQL, Python, Java etc.

• Develops automated scripts to collect large datasets from multiple sources.

• Monitors performance of existing databases and optimise them for better performance.

• Creates dashboards in Tableau or similar tools to visualise data trends.

• Analyses complex datasets to identify patterns or correlations between different variables.

• Collaborates with other teams such as product managers or software engineers on projects related to data analysis or reporting needs.

• Ensures that all data is secure by implementing appropriate security measures such as encryption algorithms or access control lists (Aces).

• Troubleshoots any issues related to the collection, storage, or analysis of data sets.
