Role Purpose:
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for the Strategic Sourcing of Capital Equipment, Parts, Services and Construction services and cooperates with multiple functions on the plant level, regional level and in GSM.
Personal and Business Objectives include identifying and driving Capital Cost Reduction and Capital Project Performance efficiency through adoption of Capital Project Management Best Practices.
The position reports directly to the Manager, EMEA OFC Procurement and is part of the Global Supply Management network.
Requirements:

-Academic Degree in Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, Business Administration or alike
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing and/or Project Procurement
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing industry
-Very good command of English language
-Good knowledge of SAP R/3, MS Office software (EXCEL)
-Understands the importance and value of open communication and sharing of information
-Understanding of Supplier Cost Structures
-Legal knowledge and contract negotiation skills considered a plus
-Attention to details
Responsibilities:

-Ensure the execution of Category strategies for Capital
-Assure supply and lead the resolution process if critical situations occur
-Negotiate sourcing conditions, Frame -a-Agreements and Project Agreements
-Identify new or alternative suppliers
-Lead the sourcing process (from RfQ to awarding the order)
-Lead the KT Decision Analysis process
-Create risk mitigation analysis and prioritize actions to close gaps
-Own, create and maintain effective supplier relationships
-Represent GSM in cross-functional Project teams
-Collect data and analyze supplier performance and spend data.
-Advocate the use of sophisticated digital tools (e.g. ARIBA eAuction | -a-Enterprise Risk Management)
