The Team:
You will join the EMEA Sales Enablement team, a group of experienced professionals and strategic partners to regional and local Sales Leaders. We drive the effort to equip all Sales roles with the sales knowledge and skills they need to successfully engage Buyers and generate revenue, all while maturing their sales capabilities.
We do that by deploying a consultative and programmatic approach focused on sales execution excellence, guided by meaningful business impact, cross-functional collaboration, quantitative and qualitative actionable insights, innovation, and a continuous growth mindset.
You will report directly to the EMEA Head of Sales Enablement-Consumer PBU, with a dotted line to the EMEA Head of Sales Enablement-Commercial PBU.
The Role:
As the EMEA Senior Specialist Sales Competencies Enablement, you will help develop defined sales abilities for each Field Sales role in the Consumer and Commercial PBUs across EMEA. You will support a dynamic, multi-channel team of in-seat sales professionals operating in a highly competitive and changing environment, as well as help onboard new hires to sales productivity.

The Work You Will Do:
To properly support the above, your main responsibilities will be to:
Build and Maintain Sales Development and Onboarding Programs:
- Work closely with EMEA´s Sales Leadership and each HUB´s Sales Enablement team to understand needs, gather goals and requirements, identify main success KPIs to impact, and align on a path forward for all in-seat roles and joining new hires.
- Lead engagement with 3rd parties and internal EMEA cross-functional teams to architect programmatic skill-up and onboarding solutions, create content, develop training, and coaching, embed meaningful enablement KPIs to track the influence of the Programs in Sales metrics, track and report results, and incorporate improvements.
- Collaborate with the Digital Sales Enablement and Sales Learning and Development teams on appropriate training formats and use of the digital deployment platform.
- Conduct postmortem sessions upon program completion with HUB Sales Leaders and Enablement teams to ensure learnings and best practice sharing.
- Create and publish the annual EMEA Enablement Program Roadmap and corresponding training calendar (including alignment with 3rd Parties on training dates and locations)
- When necessary, drive content translation from English to other European languages via the preferred translation agency.
Lead Deployment for all EMEA Sales Competencies Programs:
- Launch, implement, track, and improve all development and onboarding Sales Competencies Programs across all EMEA sales teams.
- Collaborate with local HUB Sales Leaders and Enablement teams to drive execution excellence, necessary corrective measures, and continuous program improvement.
- Monitor development progress for each HUB´s sales team leveraging the established semiannual Goodyear Performance Development Process.
Contribute to any Sales Enablement project outside of Sales Competency Programs as needed (scope, definition, execution, content creation, delivery, etc.)
Stay current on Goodyear´s Go-2-Market strategy, product, and value proposition to know what “good” looks like and align enablement programs accordingly.
The Qualifications You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- Solid 5 years in Sales Enablement, Sales Talent Development, or similar function in a multinational environment.
- Proven ability on adult training (methodologies, best practices, development, delivery, and facilitation), and building learning content, curricula, and programs.
- Experience in Change Management and Project Management. Certifications a plus.
- Passion for sales and talent development with a proven record of delivering results.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. German, Spanish, French, or Italian are a plus.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with top leaders to drive strong joint alignment.
- Effective communicator with excellent formal and informal written and presentation skills in live, recorded, in-person, and virtual settings.
- Exposure to Sales tools and Sales Enablement platforms,
- Independent, data-driven, goal-oriented, aligned to deliver towards and exceed defined timelines and goals through disciplined execution.
- Able and willing to collaborate with others to overcome unexpected challenges.
- Comfortable working with virtual teams spanning different time zones in high-paced environments with frequently changing priorities.
