Lancaster University are looking for a passionate, experienced and proactive Strategic Finance Partner to join the Financial Planning & Analysis Team, supporting Professional Services and other non-faculty areas.

This Strategic Finance Partner role will support and partner with key budget holders, providing financial support, budget management, business planning, investment analysis, costing and performance reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation of the annual statutory TRAC return. Additionally, the role will have supervisory responsibility for Finance Partners and other members of the team.
You will have experience and achievement in a finance partner role. As a strong team player with excellent communication, you will develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships within the University and externally. They will work closely with members of the FP&A team and with other finance colleagues, to support and contribute to the long-term strategic financial plan and overall strategy of the University.
You will be a fully qualified accountant with professional accountancy body membership (CCAB) with at least three years of post-qualification experience and achievement in a financial partnering role – ideally within a large complex organisation.
You must meet all the essential criteria on the Person Specification to be considered for interview. This is a full-time permanent role with hybrid working options. The role will be based within the Finance Division at Lancaster University’s Bailrigg Campus.
