Do you want to take the lead in shaping Tech4FEC’s new Data & Insights area?You and your jobAs Senior Tech Lead you have a strategic leadership role in building up Tech4FEC’s new Data & Insights area. Tasked with developing the data products and reports upon which the bank’s Financial Economic Crime detection capabilities are being built, the Data & Insights area is set up with the purpose of bringing data and insights capabilities closer to the FEC domain knowledge. You have a leading role in bringing the tech teams closer to the business.You will work in a challenging and international environment, building a new area while managing 2 Tech Leads, a team directly and ~100 (in)direct report across ~10 squads. You are responsible for all data products while ensuring close collaboration and alignment with the central Data & Analytics Tribes. As part of the area leadership team you ensure the Data & Insights teams are on track, in control and engaged. Additionally, you use your stakeholder management skills to ensure alignment with our colleagues across the FEC business lines and throughout the end to end FEC process. You ensure our data products adhere to the central standards while making sure we appropriately satisfy the consumers of our data & insights services.The domain Tech4FEC is responsible for automation and innovation across the FEC domain, including overall IT system support. The main focus is to lead model development and workflow tooling – including Data & Analytics product development – in support of the CDD, TM, Sanctions and External Fraud business lines. As Senior Tech Lead you will report to the Domain Manager Tech4FEC and work closely together with the Data & Insights Area Lead and Business Architect.Top responsibilitiesAccountable for qualitative IT delivery, steering on future proof solutions according to the target architectureDrive standardization within the tribe, ensure global use of standard products.Accountable for all IT-risks and ensure operational and security focus to maximize availability of services and to protect applications and data. Accountable for IT incident, change, vulnerability and Business Continuity Management.Accountable for sourcing via strategic IT-vendors. Responsible for financial forecast (both direct costs and indirect charging). Responsible for yearly budget process.Ensuring the right priorities are given to IT related processes such as Risk, Security, Compliancy and Life Cycle ManagementDevelop staff capabilities and skills to ensure that they remain relevant and professional in product development within the tribes, mind-set to steer on improved engineering journeys and with this responsible for Engagement and Agile maturity.Build up this new area in collaboration with the area lead. In the Netherlands we work to create a country in which people are happy with how they live, work and do business.You and your talentSeasoned professional, academic working and thinking level with 10+ years’ relevant (managerial) working experience in IT and financial services within large (financial) organization(s).Communication and influencing skills at the highest level, aimed at motivating and inspiring employees managing the (often) conflicting interests of a broad stakeholder management field representing practically all Tribes and domains of the bank.Expert knowledge on and relevant experience with Data, Analytics (including PEGA) and FEC.Thorough understanding of business processes related to the users of the products & services within FEC e.g., CDD / TM / Sanctions, data management framework, D&A services and other overarching services.Not ticking all the boxes but excited about the role?
