Role: Senior UX ResearcherLocation: Fully remote (must be based in Ireland)Duration: initial 6-month daily rate contract with view to extend or go permPosition Overview:
You will be responsible for leading research studies and incrementally innovate with product, design, engineering and content, informing the direction of a new and innovative application.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, conduct, and analyse a range of user research activities (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys, focus groups, field studies) to gather insights about user needs, pain points and preferences.
  • Collaborate with designers and product teams to translate research findings into actionable insights that inform the design and development of user-centered products.
  • Create user personas, journey maps and other relevant artifacts to visualise research findings and communicate insights effectively.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to support both discovery and validation of design concepts.
  • Advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Help create and maintain research roadmaps that align with product priorities and timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date on UX research trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a UX Researcher or in a similar user research role.
  • Strong knowledge of UX research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative (e.g., usability testing, ethnographic studies, surveys, A/B testing).
  • Experience with UX research tools.
  • Ability to analyse research data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
  • Analytics experience a plus.
