Our Lancashire Young Carers Service supports young carers on a one to one basis to reduce the impact of their caring role. As the Service Administrator & Finance Officer, you will support with the day to day running of these services.Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
- Front facing/reception duties with a friendly can-do attitude.
- Monitoring income and expenditure against original budget and revised forecasts.
- Managing rent accounts, liaising with local authorities, ensuring receipt of housing benefits etc
- Processing invoices/purchase orders
- To support the Service Manager and wider team with the annual health & safety audit and ensuring there are appropriate risk assessments in place.
- Managing VOIDS and repairs
- General administration duties to support the day to day running of the service
Essential Requirements to evidence in your written application:
- Experience of preparing and managing budgets and financial/statistical information for internal and external reporting requirements.
- Experience of day-to-day cash handling and maintaining accurate petty cash records.
- Ability to manage workload appropriately, demonstrating efficiency and reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Extensive administrative experience
- Experience of supervising staff.
