About the role

Our Connectivity team, composed of 30 people, is integrated in the Infrastructure and Workplace department and focuses on delivering high quality network and security services to Solvay worldwide. We provide a very large scope of technological services and operate them.

As a Service Owner Wireless and Industrial Connectivity you will work on overseeing the delivery and management of telecommunication services to our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

You will be accountable for:
-
Lead and manage the Wireless Industrial Service team to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction, collaborating with clients to understand their needs and developing strategies to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.

Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems, while providing technical guidance to the team and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective service delivery.

Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and preparing regular reports on service performance and project status to management.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in telecommunications technology and industry trends.

About you
-
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecommunications service management or a similar role.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and possess a deep understanding of telecommunications systems and Mobile technologies.

Competencies:
-
Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications systems, including IOT, LoraWan, NB-IoT, LTE-M, Private APN, Mobile Private Network (4G/5G/CBRS), Geofencing and network infrastructure.

Proficiency in using telecommunications management software and tools.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

About the pay and benefits:

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 56k to 70k, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
