Site Engineer – Civil & Utility Infrastructure (ESB)
Location: Wexford
Salary: €50k – €65k (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Sector: Civil / Infrastructure
Package: Vehicle, Fuel Card, Pension, BonusAbout the RoleThis 24-month infrastructure project requires a skilled Site Engineer to support a busy regional team in delivering key civil works, including ducting, RC foundations, trenching, and compound development. The role will focus on setting out, quality control, and general site coordination – with opportunities for further work across the region once this project completes.Salary & Benefits

Responsibilities
- Set out works on site using GPS and Total Stations
- Support quality control and record-keeping
- Coordinate with foremen, operatives, and subcontractors
- Maintain up-to-date drawings, measurements, and reports
- Ensure all works comply with design and HSEQ standards
- Assist with inspections and daily progress tracking
- Report directly to the Project Manager
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related
- 4+ years’ experience on civil or utilities projects, ideally in Ireland/UK
- Experience with Total Stations & GPS highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and site communication skills
- Familiarity with trenching, ducting, and concrete works
- Irish or UK experience highly advantageous
