Our client, a respected and growing general building contractor, is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their team to work in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a business delivering a variety of high-quality projects including residential schemes, education facilities, commercial developments, and refurbishment works.What’s on Offer:A chance to join a forward-thinking company with strong growth prospects.Supportive working environment with a focus on employee development.Exposure to new and innovative construction techniques and materials.Participation in a business with a strong corporate social responsibility ethos.Consistent pipeline of projects located in the West of Ireland.Competitive salary package on offer.Key Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate construction activities on site.Oversee and supervise site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.Maintain detailed site records, including manpower levels and daily activities.Track project progress against agreed programmes.Take charge of projects from plastering stage through to completion and handover.Lead weekly site meetings with the project team.Direct and manage subcontractors and site personnel.Ensure compliance with building regulations and quality standards.Requirements:Proven ability to meet demanding quality and time targets.Strong background in site supervision, preferably with a trade qualification (e.g., carpentry).Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.Good working knowledge of current building regulations and certification standards.Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman or Site Manager on residential or commercial projects.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager role.
