We currently have an opportunity for a Software Developer to join our team at SNAP in Norwich working Monday to Friday 35hrs per weekThe Developer will satisfy customer demand through the effective and efficient delivery of quality code and easy to use software solutions, interpreting business requirements, design appropriate solutions and develop those solutions with a priority and focus on cyber security.Working in a SCRUM environment, the Developer shall take direction from the Senior Software Developer assigned to the product squad and be responsible for their own estimations, managing their own workload and ensuring they follow team standards and processes.Having been acquired by Certas Energy UK Ltd in 2018, SNAP Account is a unique and innovative company who, over the past 14 years, have become the UK and European market leaders for smart payments within the haulage industry. Job responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering designs, code, and documentation of effective software products.
  • Ensuring cyber security is at the heart of all product and services developed.
  • Providing accurate estimations for works.
  • Responsibility for the quality of own software sprint outputs.
  • Empathetic and enquiring approach to business problems.
  • Active contribute to technical problem-solving workshops.
  • A core focus on customer (internal and external), delivering quality technical solutions to requirements provided by the Product Lead.
  • Timely resolution of requirement queries with third parties.
  • Learn industry trends and regulatory requirements as well as be the expert voice of technology in the team.
  • Technology ideas and trends are identified by interactions with the wider digital and

eco-system including customers, partners, events, industry trends and strategic direction.Other skills and experience required:

  • Has quantifiable experience gained in an equivalent role, with experience in the

industry being advantageous. * Experience in the following technologies: .NET8, Entity Framework, C#, React Native, TypeScript, Blazor, MudBlazor, Umbraco, SQL, MongoDB.

  • Is a strong communicator, comfortable in presenting complex ideas and concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to make complex ideas and concepts relatable to stakeholders.
  • Has a full, clean driving license in the designated country with the willingness to undertake extensive country-wide travel and overnight stays where required for the proper performance of the role to be carried out.
  • Valid passport that allows travel across Europe and to the UK when required.
  • A degree in a technology discipline or the equivalent would be advantageous but is not critical.
  • Has relevant experience eliciting requirements and recording those requirements in user story format.
  • Has relevant experience in identifying and documenting business processes.
  • Understands and can consistently apply the principles of Lean.
  • Ability to lead workshops comprising all types of stakeholders and adjust material to the audience accordingly.
  • Empathetic and team focused, puts the welfare of others ahead of outcome and personal ambition.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM, SharePoint, and other relevant electronic digital portal proficiency
