Job Description Summary As a Software Engineer Intern you will be part of an organization working a market leader advanced visualization solution for medical imaging. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.Job DescriptionRoles And ResponsibilitiesDeveloping, testing and/or debugging functions and features of AW Server or tools for internal usage by the software engineering teamCreate automated testsLook for opportunities to enhance or optimize our existing code baseTake part in maintaining high quality documentation of the PlatformFollow guidance of senior team membersQualifications/RequirementOngoing university studies in STEM majors or equivalent fieldAvailability for working min. 20 hours (up to 40 hours) during a working weekKnowledge of one or more major object-oriented programming languages (preferably Java)User-level Linux/Unix experienceAttention to detail, including code quality, testability, maintainability, and documentation aspectsBeing located in HungaryStrong command of EnglishDesired CharacteristicsGood team workerCompletes assigned tasks on time and with high quality.Interest in learning more about healthcare solutions and advanced visualization topicsExperience with medical interoperability standards (e.g. DICOM)Ability to work from the GE HealthCare’s Váci Greens office in hybrid fashion (1-2 days/week in office, depending on number of hours worked per week)Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
