Job description
Oliver James have partnered with a growing insurance business to recruit for a IT Control Analyst to join the team.This is a key role in a growing business, you will be fully responsible for the assessing, testing and monitoring of the IT controls and meet the requirements for SOX compliance. Collaborating closely with the teams to identify the advisory services and any gaps, recommending improvements and help with solutions that can mitigate risks to improve the overall control effectiveness.Key Responsibilities;
- Detailed assessment and evaluation of IT controls for SOX compliance, focused on areas of assessing controls, change management and systems development.
- Collaborating with the audit teams and stakeholders of the business to assess the SOX compliance requirements being met.
- Identifying the key risks of the business and assist in developing the strategies to mitigate the risks.
- Improve the IT controls and process the documentation, improve the process flows and keep up to date with the IT controls and SOX compliance.
Key Skills & Qualifications;
- CISA qualified
- 3 years experience in SOX IT auditing, compliance or a similar role.
- Understanding of general IT controls and familiarity with this framework.
