About the Position

The Marketing Commercial Specialist will support the execution of the local Commercial Marketing plan, in line with the EMEA Commercial Marketing strategy and the local market requirements.

Additionally, the Specialist will:

  • Understand the local market requirements (end-users, business partners, internal teams) and adapt the execution of the central and local Marketing strategy accordingly.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the local sales, SOB, and profitability objectives with the proper execution of centrally or locally designed Marketing and Sales actions and programs.
  • First Commercial Marketing point of contact/assistance for local associates (such as TTS, Area Managers, KAM, etc.)

Your Responsibilities

  • Localization of relevant Marketing collaterals, digital content (website, blog, social media…) and execution of their distribution through the relevant channels and to the relevant target groups.
  • Support execution in his/her geography of responsibility of centrally driven Marketing campaigns (e.g., ‘Drive Results’), programs (e.g., guarantees) or events (e.g., IAA). Ensure utilization of central tools and systems whenever applicable (e.g., MyGoodyear for sales campaigns and programs).
  • Support proper execution of locally driven activities such as seasonal sales campaigns, local events, local content creation and distribution, hand in hand with relevant local Goodyear stakeholders.
  • Understand local market needs and requirements working closely with MRI and sales departments (Truck and OTR) and being from time to time in direct contact with dealers and fleets. Ensure all Marketing actions are in line with internal and external expectations.
  • Follow-up on leads generated by digital means or traditional events from generation of the leads to follow-up by appropriate sales representatives. Measure the ROI of Marketing campaigns and events reconciling cost and business generated. Report campaign/events results to local Marketing Manager and/or regional team.
  • Ensure local Legal compliance of all centrally or locally driven Marketing activities and communications.

Your Profile

  • Bachelors or Master degree in Marketing. 
  • 1+ year of experience in Marketing, ideally comprising a Digital Marketing experience.
  • Project management skills. 
  • Comfort in operating with (simple) numbers.- 
  • Efficient communicator.
  • Executional drive. Confident, structured, creative, and dynamic personality.
  • Capability to well understand customers and internal team’s needs.
  • B2B marketing practice and tools knowledge incl. digital.
  • Product and industry (automotive, transportation, logistics, leasing) knowledge is a plus. 
  • Fluency in English and French is required
