Species Recovery Engagement Officer

We are seeking to hire a dynamic, passionate and experienced Species Recovery
Engagement Officer to play an integral role in our work on rewilding and species recovery –
this will primarily be focused on our species reintroduction work.

You will be in an exciting position, joining the Lifescape-NWT partnership team as we develop
and expand our work on species, with the opportunity to help shape its future direction.

The Species Recovery Engagement Officer will have key relationships with both NWT and
Lifescape. They will also work closely with other environmental organisations working with us
on our projects and particularly with locally based NGOs with regard to geographically specific
reintroduction projects.

We are primarily looking for applicants with a social and ecological engagement background and
ideally this would be supplemented with ecological understanding.

This role is fulltime – 35 hours per week and is offered on a fixed term contract for 18
months. The salary will be in line with our C grade scale (£24,336 – £27,363).
