Role OverviewA leading player in the utility-scale renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Senior EPC Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. This is a high-impact role where you’ll oversee complex engineering, procurement, and construction efforts-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.You will manage both in-house and external teams, contribute to strategic decision-making, and be a key driver of operational success across multi-megawatt projects.Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring delivery meets contract specifications, quality, deadlines, and budget
  • Plan and optimize resources, minimizing travel, materials, and equipment costs for maximum efficiency
  • Enforce adherence to Health & Safety policies and site-specific risk assessments
  • Deliver consistent project outcomes through effective team and subcontractor management
  • Drive strong financial performance, including profitability, cash flow, and cost control
  • Ensure contractual KPIs and performance metrics are met through detailed monitoring and reporting
  • Manage the project supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Foster trusted relationships with clients, partners, and project stakeholders
  • Recruit, lead, and mentor operational staff, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • 7+ years of EPC project experience, including utility-scale ground-mounted solar PV
  • Proven background in project management, including reviewing technical documents and scopes
  • Strong understanding of HSE requirements, budget oversight, and program delivery
  • HNC qualified with relevant industry training (e.g., SMSTS, CDM, IOSH)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and partners
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Flexible and mobile, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
