Then this position in Channel Security Cluster at Danske Bank could be the right choice for you.We are seeking a skilled Software Architect to help build the next generation of application security solutions for one of the largest banks in Northern Europe. We work on a cloud-based federated identity provider that ensures authentication for online channels across the Group as well as integrating with CIAM vendor solution. Additionally, we are responsible for the MitID Broker solution which serve as one of the largest access points to the Danish sector security solution.As a Software Architect, you will play a pivotal role in balancing customer experience, performance, and industry standards to achieve a seamless digital experience for millions of customers. Join a dedicated and globally distributed team of about 50 professionals, with about 20 based in Aarhus, Denmark. This position is located in Aarhus.What you can expect:

• We enable other teams by providing digital authentication and signature services.

• We support hundreds of applications and ensure the safe usage of Danske Bank applications by millions of customers.

• We design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-scale software with high requirements for uptime and security.

• We manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within an agile, self-organising scrum team.

• We offer easy integration with MitID and electronic IDs in digital channels, providing a cost-efficient plug-and-play solution.

About you:We envision that you are an experienced Software Architect or Lead Software Engineer, with expertise in cloud development and architecture, and a strong interest in security. You are proactive, team-oriented, and have a deep passion for security and technology. You are committed to and accountable for squad deliveries and end results. We hope you are enthusiastic about knowledge sharing and continuous learning, with a customer-oriented mindset that always keeps the users’ best interests at heart. You take pride in delivering secure, well-designed, optimised, and scalable solutions.Ideally, you hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT/Engineering, or a related field, with over 5 years of relevant experience. However, we value equivalent experience and skills.We are looking for:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in designing and/or technically leading large software development solutions.

• Proven back-end development skills (e.g., C#, MSSQL, RESTful API, CI/CD).

• Experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and Docker.

• Knowledge of OpenID Connect/OAuth 2.0.

• Proficiency in verbal and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in verbal and written Danish is preferable since work in the Danish Sector for security solutions is expected.
