You will be responsible for engineering, procurement, and project coordination for new static equipment installations. Join us and contribute to a future driven by cutting-edge engineering solutions.IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIORAs a Static Equipment Engineer, you will act as an expert in the field of static equipment, ensuring that all standards, norms, and regulations are applied correctly. You will be involved in both large and small projects, leading initiatives related to heat exchangers, vessels, storage tanks, and other static equipment. Your role will involve coordination with multiple stakeholders, including operations, process engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance.With a deep understanding of European standards and Envalior’s internal guidelines, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and overseeing the installation of new static equipment, ensuring compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) principles at all times.Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Act as the technical expert for all static equipment engineering and procurement at Envalior Antwerp.
  • Ensure compliance with Envalior standards, European norms, and legal requirements for new static equipment.
  • Develop and maintain engineering standards for static equipment, including related aspects such as insulation.
  • Participate in project teams (large and small) for new static equipment, or lead small projects.
  • Take responsibility for the engineering of installation, piping, and static equipment, including:
  • Collecting and analyzing all required data from stakeholders, especially operations.
  • Aligning with process engineering to ensure optimal equipment design.
  • Ensuring the availability of technical drawings and documentation.
  • Preparing technical specifications and coordinating with procurement.
  • Providing cost estimations for new equipment installations.
  • Defining Inspection & Testing Plans (ITP) in collaboration with stakeholders and notified bodies.
  • Coordinating with construction teams and operations for equipment installation.
  • Ensuring proper piping connections for new equipment.
  • Maintain a strong network within the static equipment engineering community outside Envalior.
  • Adhere to SHE principles, life-saving rules, and environmental standards in all aspects of work.

Requirements:THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a plant environment or project engineering.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of heat exchangers, vessels, storage tanks, and static equipment standards.
  • Familiar with tools such as SAP, COMOS, AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of international norms and safety regulations regarding static equipment.
  • Excellent decision-making, project engineering, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate between multiple disciplines.
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to work both independently and in teams.
  • A proactive approach with a customer and external focus, acting responsibly and driving for results.
