The Intel Global Communications Group is a team of communications professionals spanning internal and external communications to promote and protect the Intel brand. It’s a fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment. We are looking for a thoughtful, collaborative, and strategic team member who can thrive at the center of always-on communications for new and growing businesses inside Intel.

This specialized role reports into the Strategic Communications team, responsible for driving best in class communications for Intel’s strategic events, storytelling, and incubation efforts.

Role Responsibilities:

With an established background in tech communications and events, the Strategic Comms Specialist will:

  • Support strategy, program management and act as a key project manager for Intel’s flagship events, Intel Vision and Intel Innovation.
  • This role will also help support the creation and execution of a 360-degree communications program for the aforementioned events, and oversee the customer, employee, content and event logistics workstreams.
  • The role is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to develop and execute strategic communications plans that directly impact one of Intel’s growth businesses.
  • The scope includes strategic planning, leadership of global virtual team, execution of a 360-degree communications plan (including managing external communications engagements), content development, and partnering with multiple global teams within GCG and marketing.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have an understanding of the semiconductor industry.
  • Min 3+ Years Proven experience working and leading events from start to finish.
  • Excellent organizational skills and project management skills to drive high-impact news moments and industry-leading events.
  • The successful candidate will thrive working in a highly matrixed organization and enjoy collaborating with the industry’s best and brightest practitioners.
  • Essential qualities include confidence to proactively problem solve, work cross-functionally, and connect dots across business units and workstream leads to ensure a solidified 360 storytelling strategy is maintained throughout the events.

This proactive, self-starter will engage with a diverse mix of colleagues across the global marketing and communications organizations, as well as senior level business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing or related field required.
  • Experience in technology-related communications, marketing or events.
