To strengthen our Procurement team at the Poznan or Kalisz (Poland) site, we are looking for a
Strategic Purchaser (m/w/d)
Your profile:
• Technical or commercial training with further specialist training and / or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an economic/technical focus.
• Experience in strategic purchasing of raw materials, semi-finished products and parts
• Knowledge and experience in category and supplier management
• Negotiation skills
• Structured way of working in the preparation and implementation of tenders
• Flexibility, motivation and commitment as well as willingness to travel occasionally
• High level of self-drive to identify potential for optimization and savings
• Very good communication skills
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Experience in working with SAP is an advantage
• Confident use of MS Office programmes
Your responsibilities:
• Independent strategic purchasing in the area of plastic molded or extruded parts, insulation, casted parts, turned parts, metal anchors
• Analyzing the assigned material groups and deriving and implementing a suitable product group strategy
• Independently conducting price negotiations
• Collaboration in Group-wide international purchasing initiatives and coordination of global sourcing activities
• Collaboration with product management to structure the Leviat product portfolio
• Further development and optimization of purchasing processes and handling
• Market observation and supplier selection
• Creating and analyzing supplier evaluations
• Conducting annual meetings with suppliers
